The department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is seeking to fill a tenure-track full time Assistant Professor position. Area of specialization is open, but should complement the expertise of current faculty.
Preferred candidates will be able to teach one or more academic courses from among the following content areas: linguistic and cultural diversity, speech science, voice, motor speech disorders, cognitive-communicative disorders, school-age language disorders and literacy, speech sound disorders, fluency. In addition to teaching, all faculty are expected to sustain a record of scholarly work, advise majors, assist the department with administrative and/or committee work, and assume campus-wide committee responsibilities.
The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree and an accredited Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
