Asian Pacific Islander Speech-Language-Hearing Caucus

Assistant/Associate Professor; Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences

The Department of Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences at Saint Louis University seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor starting August 2023. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Position Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in speech-language pathology or related area. ABD will be considered, if finished by first semester of employment
  • Successful classroom teaching experience
  • A record of research and scholarly accomplishments
  • Expertise in acquired neurogenic communication disorders
  • ASHA certification and ability to obtain MO licensure

Responsibilities

This 9-month position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, maintaining an active research agenda, mentoring student research, advising students, and participating in service.
